Likewise, Professional Investigators don’t just ask, “What happened?” They utilize different types of questions strategically. Unfortunately, investigators often use Conversational Rules to formulate Interview Questions! Unlike a casual conversation, a Forensic Interview must be purposefully designed to maximize the interviewer’s ability to Obtain Information and Assess Credibility, especially when an interviewee is inclined to avoid detection.
